About
In today’s world of online publishing and offline publishing, it seems that one can easily become an authority on a subject just by publishing a book and we have seen there are even more prolific writers online than there are offline. In the online world there is an easy way to critique and improve upon the writings of others, but aside from a few book reviews on various websites and other publications, there’s very little feedback from the community at large regarding specific ideas that authors have written about.
The goal of this blog is to present the writings and ideas of authors (not by copying but by paraphrasing certain sections) – about two books per week — and to get feedback from users regarding their own experiences and whether the ideas can be improved upon. As business and technology progresses many writings of authors quickly become obsolete, so we’d also like to know what has replaced or caused these ideas to become obsolete. Authors themselves will find this invaluable to find out what people think and perhaps consider coming out with an improved and updated edition in the future. The main goal is to advance our knowledge in conducting more effective business.
Another goal of this site is to provide a searchable database of the writings of many authors on particular issues. This search does not represent a cross-section of everything published like you’d find at online sellers of books, or by major search engines, but rather a search of topics presented in carefully selected books. This provides a repository for anybody doing business and should prove to be a valuable resource for years to come.
Finally, all the articles presented here encourage readers through links to buy the books. For those interested in the service, we’ll also start offering these articles in MP3 format in the near future.
